Sensors and AI find the anomaly. The alert reaches the right person. Then the documentation stops.
Article 50 transparency applies from 2 August 2026 — people must know when they interact with AI. High-risk obligations under Annex III, deployer duties, and fundamental-rights impact assessments were deferred to 2 December 2027 by the Digital Omnibus. When an alert is assessed, you still need a record: who decided, what was decided, and on what basis — with logs retained and affected people informed where the law requires it.
Copyl Smart City sits on top of the sensors, IoT platforms, and map systems you already have. We replace nothing. We record the signal, the AI agent's recommendation, the decision, and the rationale — and make it auditable afterwards.
Our founder Rolf Bäck will be on site at Smart City Expo World Congress, 3–5 November. Book 30 minutes and we walk through a demo environment built on a real municipal setup. No presentation.
